If you’ve spent any time online looking up survival info you’ve probably found a lot of what we did: Right wing rhetoric, religious undertones and every single plan pointing you towards the woods. Well what if you live in a city, are more concerned with the safety of your family than playing politics and don’t really put too much stock in myths & fairy tales, religious or otherwise? We found ourselves asking those same questions.

We hope Urban Journal will be the answer. We’ll be covering a wide range of information that might be of use to city dwellers who want to make sure they have a plan for worst case situations. Preparations, product reviews, skills and plans along with first hand advice from people who have seen things go terribly wrong.
